RotorRacer
A drone-racing simulator with physics modelled against real hardware — so a tune you fly here carries over to the real quad.

Modelled against real hardware, not guessed
RotorRacer's north star is RealWorld fidelity. The flight model is built from bench measurements of real motors and props, so the way a quad accelerates, holds a line, and runs out of punch all emerge from the parts — not from a lookup table.
- Real motor and prop thrust curves, fitted from throttle-step runs on a physical test rig.
- A modelled powertrain: battery voltage sag and pack drain feed back into thrust the way they do on a real pack.
- FlightModes, PID, Rates, RPM and Throttlte limit all working like you would expect from Betaflight — so the feel matches the firmware.
- Simulated wind, so you are flying an outdoor track rather than a vacuum.
Design it, fly it, share it
A 3D track editor ships inside the game. Place gates and elements, fly your layout, and publish it for everyone else.
- Build Assemblies in a full 3D editing surface, with undo and redo as you go.
- Publish your tracks and browse everyone else's — a growing library, not a fixed set of official maps.
- Every published track is open to inspect, so you can learn from and remix how others built theirs.
Live races, server-timed lapsClosed alpha
Racing is more than a time trial. Fly live sessions against other pilots, with laps timed on the server and best times stored for the leaderboard.
- Live multiplayer sessions with server-timed laps.
- Your best lap times are stored on the server and shown in the HUD.
- Multiplayer is in closed alpha right now — it is gated while we build it out, so treat it as a preview rather than a finished mode.

RotorRacer is still pre-release and is not yet code-signed by Apple (that certificate is a recurring cost we are holding off on until release). macOS will refuse to open an unsigned app, so after moving it to Applications, run this once in Terminal to clear the quarantine flag:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/RotorRacer.app
